What is the relation b/n log & Virtual Logs. IS it possible to create VLF based on log size. What are the best practices?

Virtual log files are created each time your log file needs to grow, so there is a direct link between VLFs and the growth settings.
You want to keep the number low, as high number of VLFs can make recovery much slower than you would want!
Back up your Log file, set it to simple recovery model, shrink the log file to a small number to reduce the VLFs and then set the log file to the size it was previously. This will ensure it doesn't need to continuously grow.

Thank you. So we can't do anything VLF. It automatically depends upon Log file. What is the usual relation b/n those. Usually we can configure temp db according to the processors just like that is it possible for this log this size of vLF like that
