Hi all
Is the log-cache broken down into logical segments of memory for each instance db with their own worker threads and associated timeouts for flushing etc? (which I am tending to believe so).
Also, any DBCC commands I can use to monitor and/or view the contents of (undocumented is fine).
Cheers
Chris

I would be curious to know if there is anything like this. However, I don't believe there is unless a third party company has found a way to hook the memory space of SQL and read the data. Also to my knowledge MS only provides counters but not viewing of what is in the log cache.
