Is there a command or tool that will locate all SQL Server instances within a LAN or WAN?

Check out this Microsoft SQL Server webpage:
It's a tool kit that includes:
SQL Scan:
SQL Scan (Sqlscan.exe) scans an individual computer, a Windows domain, or a range of IP addresses for instances of SQL Server 2000 and MSDE 2000, and identifies instances that may be vulnerable to the Slammer worm. SQL Scan runs on Windows 2000 or higher and can identify instances of SQL Server 2000 and MSDE 2000 running on Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, or Windows XP (Professional).
Ignore the part about Slammer. It lists all instances of SQL Server and you use the version to find out if it's vulnerable.

Sqlscan.exe sounds excellent. I will take a look at it. However, I was hoping to finda a command or tool that would locat SQL Server 2000 or 7.0. Actually, it would be great if there is a product that could detect any version of SQL Server installations.
Thank you.

Here's a tool that may help also. It's free (always a nice price).
