Leonard Nimoy passed away today at 83.
I think Dr. Spock was my favorite character from Star Trek and I've got fond memories of his work throughout the years. As much as I grew up enjoying his work, I had no idea he would be in the remake of Star Trek a decade ago. I was delighted to see him appear in the movie.
Leaving a thread for memories and thoughts.
Update: changed Star Wars to Star Trek

I like the character Spock a lot better than Kirk.
May his memory live long and prosper.

Sheldon Cooper has his DNA.
Sure he's working on it.

Nitpick: It's Mr Spock, not Dr.
I'm more of a Next Generation/DS9 person, my mother's the one who loves classic Star Trek.
It was the movies, mainly Wrath of Kahn and Voyage Home that I really loved Spock's part in.

Wasn't it a remake of Star Trek not Star Wars?

Steve - the game's up. You'd best get back to William Bell's universe before the Observers get you!

Thanks for starting this thread.
I was in high school when this show was in prime time and Mr Spock was who I wanted to be (besides Jim Hendrix, Carlos Santana, others).
I figured if I could put just run my life pure logically like he did, girls wouldn't be able to hurt my feeling or break my heart, etc.
THAT would be a superpower!

Yes, sorry, remake of Star Trek, the modern two versions.
