I would say the best option is to install litespeed and use it. I believe the trial version can be used to restore backups even after the trial has expired. I would put the question out to Quest just to be sure.
That is correct. The trial version will allow restores but disables backup functionality. Handy if you're xfering db backups to vendor tech support.

Oh yeah i got this long back. I could also use extractor.exe to convert litespeed to native. Thanks
