Lite Speed Backup fails

    close to 650 GB, and takes around 13 Hour to complete

    Is the compressed backup from litespeed is 650GB? hope you are not talking about native backup..

    how long does the job run before it fails?

    if its a permission issue how my Tlog backup is running successfully?

    its only full backup thats increasing my headache.

    when i ran it manually it ran successfully so network issue should not be the case.

    thanks for helping guys but still its not over.

    Its Native backup size, lite speed backup size close to 240 GB. timing is npot fixed, it sometime fails in 1 hours and sometime takes 9 hours.

    Just ran it from SQL job, right click ->start job.

    So it fails when scheduled but succeeds when run manually? I can only think that's because it's scheduled to run overnight, and there is a problem with the network resource at some time while it is running. Presumably, if you run it manually, you do so during the day? Have you tried scheduling it to run during the day, or running it manually at the time it is scheduled to run?
