  Hi,

  Is there any email groups or services like Listserv to subscribe to that would let us know of any new security patches or service packs for SQL server when it is announced by Microsoft. If so please let me know of the URL to subscribe to such a list.

  It's not explicitly focused on SQL Server (and I don't remember if an announcement on a SQL Server security patch has come through), but this is the Microsoft security bulletin...

  Also, the SQLServerCentral.com newsletter usually has the announcement of a service pack.
