Hello SSC bosses,
For a long time now when I use the search the links in the result list page do not work.
Clicking on them does nothing (am on IE6), and links can only be opened via right click and open in new window.
Maybe there is something incompatible in the transform style sheet of the Google results?
I don't know if you are using the Google appliance or not,
but in general I've found the search to be a bit ineffective
and maybe better catalogue designs on the Google side would help.
Sometime responses to my posts have called on me to search first before posting
when I actually did and could not find the content until they posted a link to it.
Just some thoughts and suggestions.
This is the best SQL site around and I use it a lot.
many thanks!

thanks and we'll take a look. I don't have IE 6 anywhere, but I have Firefox and IE7 and the search results work fine. I think the clicking and no action is a client side security setting, but I'm not sure.
We use a custom Google search, not the appliance. It's not the best solution, and we are examining other possibilities.
