linking servers between two SQL 2000 machine's

  I did really everything to connect with one machine to another. I checked both servers for the

  "Allow other SQL Servers to connect Remotely to this SQL Server using RPC" checkbox. Network is working correctly. I just don't know how to run the machine from a distance. Pleeze help !!!

  SQL7 or 2k? What security setting did you choose for the linked server?
