Hi,
I am getting the folowing error when configuring the linked server between ss2k8r2 and mas90 database.
Cannot initialize the data source object of OLE DB provider "SQLNCLI10" for linked server.
OLE DB provider "SQLNCLI10" for linked server returned message "Multiple-step OLE DB operation generated errors. Check each OLE DB status value, if available. No work was done."
I am trying to access data from a MAS90 database and I need to pull data out of it to a SQL Server table.
Need your inputs on this.
Thanks.

Did you install the mas90 drivers?
After that did you create a DSN?

Thanks for the reply. But I have already installed the MAS90 driver. And already configured the DSN.

How did you create the linked Server? It is probably not the Linked Server but the OLE DB Driver.
