Linked Server

    Is it possible to create a linked server from a SQL Server 2000 Server to a SQLBase 8.1.0 Server?

    If so, can you please assist me in how to do it?

    I have installed the SQLBase 8.1.0 software on the SQL Server, just need to find out how to correctly create a linked server!

    Hi,

    I would use ODBC source. See sp_addlinkedserver Books Online topic for the syntax for using ODBC source, there are a couple. One of the examples uses Provider String parameter. You may check your SQLBase documentation on the prvider connection strings examples.
