Linked Report in ssrs 2005
Hi,:)
Am working with ssrs 2005 (SQL Server Reporting Services). Creating Linked report with two different reports in a MS VISUAL STUDIO 2005 project.
Problem :
my first report (Summary report) has three parameters.
1.date
2.state name
3.branch name
here date parameter is non_queried and branch name parameter (cube parameter) is given in drop down list.
my second report (detailed report) has two parameters.
1.date
2.branch name
here i used non-queried for date and branch name from (cube parameter.
By clicking branch name in the summary report, that branch name should go input to detailed report and finally the report must be generated.
Help me to do this.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks and Regards,
Gayu:)

Right OK, well I am also learning and havent tested this yet but it does look like it will work.
Step 1 - Right click on the link, select Properties and goto the Navigation Tag
Step 2 - Next to the Jump to report box, which selects the linked report, is a Parameters button.
This allows you to enter the name of parameter and the value, from a selected field so I suspected that it will do what you want (and what I want)
Any way
Hope that helps
Alan
