  I have server A where i canot link other servers from it by i can linkserverA from other servers. like a one way.ofcourse we have kerberos authentication creating SPN's

  this was not the issue before but just came up, before i use to do both ways but if i try to create link server using FQDN it works well but its a pain querying this server using full name, is there any work around?

  I just wonder wht it is not working now when it worked before.

  Did you check the Allow remote connections to this server on the Connections page in the database instance properties?
