Hi
We have licenses to cover our sql server enterprise running under a Windows failover cluster.(2 nodes). Database and AS and RS were installed in one server and can failover to the other one.
My question is as follows:
If I install DB in one server and RS/AS que in the other one, would I need more licenses to cover both server?

Yes. If you wanted to run each service (let's say the Database Engine (DE), Reporting Services (RS), Analysis Services (AS)) on 3 different servers would would need to licence each server individually. So, say each of those 3 servers has 8 physical cores, you would need 8 x 3 SQL licenses = 24 SQL Server Licenses. Splitting it in two like above (DE on one, RS and AS on another) would mean you'd need 8 x 2 SQL Licences = 16 SQL Licences.
