HELP PLEASE!
Can some one please make a recommendation for either a book or course where I can learn Active X scripting. I'm pushing the limits of DTS and my own knowledge. I'm looking to expand the use of DTS through accessing the different stages of the Data pump and looping through directories of files. I wan to use Active X to do such things, but unfortunately I'm ignorant to the ways of scripting. Can anyone please advise?
Thanks,
Aaron

Here is a few places to start.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnanchor/html/scriptinga.asp
http://www.planet-source-code.com (Lots of available code to learn from)
http://www.javascript.com (Site was a bit cumbersome thou)
http://www.codeproject.com/vbscript/ (Tutorials and lots of good info, I gave you VBScript, look down sidebar menu for javascript and others).
http://www.codeguru.com (Some good stuff out there and best forums for scripting issues, but as of late it has been a bear and slow as can be).

Here are the best books I have used on Active X in DTS:
(1) VBScript Programmer's Refererence by Clark, Donatis, et al (Wrox Press)
(2) VBScript Pocket Reference by Childs, Lomax, and Petrusha (O'Reilly Press)
(3) SQL Server 2000 DTS by Chaffin, Knight, and Robinson (Wrox Press)
(4) Real World SQL-DMO For SQL Server by Mitchell and Allison (A! APress)
(5) Windows 2000: Windows Script Host by Tim Hill (New Riders)
