ldf of main db and tempdb keep increasing

    Hi, I have a full backup every night , differential backups every 2 hours and trans log shipping.

    Suddenly I see a huge increase in the backup sizes turns out the log files are getting massive.

    Any ideas what could suddenly cause this?

    You should now try to figure out what data is missing because of the rollback you just caused and who to notify that you just trashed their data. Let's hope it wasn't info on your next pay raise. 😉

    Stop killing things until you know just exactly what it is that you're killing and who to contact both before and after the kill.
