Latest SQL Server vunerability sp_replwritetovarbin

  • The latest vunerability released today for SQL Server says to disable this SP... question is now and is it on by default?

  • Sorry, I posted under SQL 2005 and also under SQL 2000 thinking that maybe there are different ways to do this under either version.

    I found the answer:

    use master

    deny execute on sp_replwritetovarbin to public
