Hi,
I'm investigating some strange CPU escalation / sluggishness of our server and noticed a number of Wait types on PAGELATCH_xx whose resource was 0:0:0. Any one familiar with what that might be, is it the sql resources database? I can't seem to dig up anything on it.
Thanks,
Scott

No page has that ID (resource DB would be 32767:1:XX). Could be referring to an entry in the metadata, but not sure.

Thanks. I never did figure it out. I was observing this in our SQL Spotlight monitoring tool, I clicked into once and it changed to tempdb.<file> something or other. It may be a tempdb contention type wait or a bug/feature of the monitor
