Dear Experts,
Can anybody help me know how to check what the last security patch was applied to our SQL Server ? We need to check this and then apply it if not applied . Ours is SQL 2012 SP4 standard edition.

Most of the SQL Server Builds posts list the security updates. I often use this one which lists those updates:

Yes, you are correct. And the description does list if it's a security update, CU or hot fix/specific fix on the more current versions such as yours.

Thank you Sue. One more question is How do we know if its GDR or LDR. Ours is at 11.0.7001.0 ? thank you .

It's in the description whether it's GDR, Security patch, CU, or fixes.
