Hi,
Our software team have to work on tempdb a lot.As there is less space in the drive we are forced to move tempdb to another drive.can we do so.will it create any problems.

No there will be no problem, infact it is advisable to do so, even with Databae logs.
only if you are on SAN with RAID 10 will it really make a difference.
but moving it to Just another Volume will help in management of TEMPDB but performance will be not heavily improved.

I forgot to ask:
What is the size of your TEMPDB and whats your drive size.
Which OS version with SP and SQL version with SP.
What is your Drive configuration? (if you are aware)
