Absolutely weird situation. The following problem only occurs with Internet Explorer (regardless of compatibility view setting); other browsers such as Chrome and FireFox do not exhibit the following issue.
We're using SSRS 2012, viewing reports solely through report manager.
If I view a report using IE 11 and maximize the window to the full screen resolution (1920 x 1200), the report will not render -- it will freeze at the "Loading" popup. IE becomes unresponsive; have to kill the program via task manager.
Interestingly, if I make the IE window smaller (comparable to 1280x1024) before attempting to view the report, the report will render just fine. BUT, if I then either maximize the window or attempt to resize the window two about two-thirds the size of the screen, IE will suddenly freeze; end up killing the program via task manager.
This problem even occurs when I remote to the server, and run the reports using the server's instance IE.
(For now, I make sure to not run reports in full screen when using IE -- but that seems a bit ridiculous, doesn't it?)
Anybody ever run into this problem? Any solutions?
Thanks in advance,
Pete

Hi Pete, wondering if you were able to resolve this issue as I am seeing the same behavior. Thanks a lot.
