I have been reading the SQL Server product overview, and it states that KPI's can be created but there are currently no packaged client tools with SQL Server 2005 which allow you to use these KPI's. As a result I am looking into other Scorecard/Dashboard applications which I could use to either create the KPI's or display them. Once they have been created, it would be good to be able to click onto them to open the relevant Reporting Services report.
Any ideas?

Hi Jared,
You could write your own tool. From what I've seen of the web service/s with AS2K5 this wouldn't be too hard to do. The displaying is probably easier as the server can return the predefined images to you for each KPI indicating their state. It's a little bit of a cross post but re: MOSAB scorecarding product, i've not seen the next incrantion yet but the previous one worked well directly off cubes with no real requirement to use RS to suply the data.
lastly, I wouldn't worry too much about there not currently being tools that support all of the new features of AS2K5, be confident that the vendors are (and have been since 03 or ealier) working away to get their tools ready for these features.
Cheers,
Steve.

Not sure if you're still looking at this Jared but if you re you might want to look at Mosha's ASP.net smaple app that reads and displays KPI's from AS2K. http://www.mosha.com/msolap/articles/kpiquerying.htm
Steve.
