Keeping contact with former co-workers

    How many of you keep contact with your former co-workers after you leave the company?  It seems I am not able to keep contact with my former co-workers.   Even we tried but after a few months, we were busy and never saw each other again.  That's why people say it is very hard to meet friends these days, especially people changes jobs so often.

    I've rarely been able to keep in touch. The exception was JD Edwards, where I was a part of a great team. Of the 20 on our team, 6-8 of us get together for happy hour every couple months, 5 of us have played softball together, and 2 or 3 of us have lunch every couple weeks.

    From my internship days, I haven't talked to many people that I worked with. 

    From my after-college days, I've kept in touch with a few of the people who I used to work with at my last job.  We worked in various departments but have always enjoyed going out with each other when we can.  We get together every few months.
