    Thanks for the freebie. An interesting point I saw the other day was that U.S. independence was actually declared by the Continental Congress on July 2nd but that it was not actually put into writing until July 4th and then all of the signatures were not added until later. The written document overshadowed the actual event and that is why July 4th is celebrated versus July 2nd.
