I am having a problem with several jobs failing
[SQLSTATE 01000] (Message 0) ConnectionRead (WrapperRead()). [SQLSTATE 01000] (Message 258) General network error. Check your network documentation. [SQLSTATE 08S01] (Error 11). The step failed.
I have rebooted the server, the jobs run under a sqlservice login which is part of the Domain Admins, nobobody has changed the password. It seems to happen several database and not just one. All the database reside on a SAN
Deleted a recreated jobs
SQL Enterprise 8 (SP3) 8 gigs ram Window Server 2003

What are your jobs trying to do? BCP or FTP files to another server? Do they run DTS packages or procedures? Can you run the jobs manually, or their pieces? Are there errors in the NT logs? More info would help.

Thanks for your reply, but I figured it out last night, I added then server name under the alias tab in the Client Network Utility, then all the jobs fired off when they were supposed to.
The job runs a procedure the runs several DTS that import text data to rebuild / refresh data
