Indeed. But I usually don't connect to 2008R2 with SSMS 2005, so I still had to make an educated guess 🙂

Yeah, 2005 is getting to be a conversation piece for oldtimers... unfortunately. I have been around since 6.5.

Yeah, 2005 is getting to be a conversation piece for oldtimers... unfortunately. I have been around since 6.5.
I've worked with 2005 (so it's not -that- old), but I see no reason why I should connect to a newer instance of SQL Server with an older version of SSMS.
