Over the weekend a job ran but it failed. I know I didn't schedule it and all my coworkers also said that they did not schedule it. I looked at sysjobhistory it says it was "...invoked by Schedule 117..." but I looked at Sysjobschedules and I cannot find schedule_id=117 !!!
If I understood correctly, when a job has a schedule_id (in Sysjobschedules) it means that job was scheduled ? but then why my job was not in the Sysjobschedules ? Is there something wrong with my SQL Server ?
Please help. Thanks in advance.
FYI, we are running Windows 2000 Adv Server sp4 and SQL Server 2000 sp3.

what date in sysjobhistory? There can be record but if there is not in Sysjobschedules - looks like somebody 'edited' the job
