Issue with SQL Mail

    Hi Everyone,

    We just got a new DB server and I installed SQL 2000 ENT (SP3) and have migrated all the DB's to it. I am trying to set up SQL Mail using POP with Outlook.

    I have created the profile and can send and recieve email using that account. I have also successfully configured SQL Mail and SQL Agent to use this profile. When I test the Mail Profile in SQL Agent, I get "Succesfully started( and stopped) a mail session with this profile". Also when I test the SQL Mail Configuration for the profile, I get "Successfully started( and stopped) a MAPI session with this profile". So this all looks good.

    The problem is that when I try and send a test email from the one of the Operators in SQL Agent, it says "message sent succesfully", but the message does not make it.

    Not sure what is going on. I have set this up many times and never had this kind of problem. Any ideas anyone?
