Issue when connecting to clustered instance

    Hello. 🙂

    I have a freshly installed SQL 2008 R2 cluster on Windows 2008 R2, with 2 nodes and 3 SQL instances, and it works like a charm. Except when I try to connect to one of the instances. The first time I connect to anyone of the instances, the logon attempt times out. The second attempt, I connect without any problems. The issue repeats it self everytime I close and start SSMS.

    Any idears on how to solve this issue?

    Well apprently it was a firewall issue, even though all the relevalt ports was opened in all the profiles, the connetion issue stopped when I turned off the windows firewall.
