  I have just noticed the following error on our ADC and was wondering if it's anything to be concerned about. 

  There are multiple accounts with name MSSQLSvc/<computername.domain.local> 1433 of type 10

  I have three instances of SQL Server Developer Edition running on machines connected to one domain so I assume it's something to do with that, but I don't know if this will cause problems further down the road?

   Any help / advice would be greatly appreciated.

  Do they need to be listed in Active Directory?

  If they are local developer instances, its probably not neccessary to pollute the AD with them.

  I'm not too familiar with AD/SQL problems, but I havent seen a need to add SQL servers to AD yet.
