Hi i inherited some multi document (eg print all invoices in the invoice number from and to parameter range i am providing) crystal reports for conversion to ssrs 2019 A theme i see is repeating tablix lines till they fill up pages and only printing footer like info at the BOTTOM of the last page of an invoice or other type of doc once. You can see a good example at https://www.sqlservercentral.com/forums/topic/blank-page-appears-after-every-printed-page-in-subreport where i decided to call my sub report one page at a time from a master with subreport link in tablix, kind of dreading the whole experience. The master orchestrated the range of lines and page number on each invocation of the sub report. The sub report was passed a flag instructing it whether or not to print the footer like info. Being a sub report, as far as i know i could not bake an ssrs header into the solution. And for the same reason i could not bake a footer although even if i could, would probably not have as its only printed once per invoice or other type of doc.
i dont know if my users are going to ask me to skip x lines on the last page to ensure the "footer" is printed at the bottom of that page.
Does ssrs 2019 have some sort of feature that recognizes this pattern and makes it easier on the developer?
