Hi, it came up in a conversation about that there is a web based version of enterprise manager for remote connections. I searched around and found a lot of 3rd party versions such as this one http://www.sql-server-performance.com/aw_mylitteladmin_spotlight.asp but I'm looking for the microsoft version if there is one. The main issue is that we do not want to install the client tools on every terminal we have... but have the ability to access the tables from a user's terminal when we are away from the server.
thanks

I don't think there is any "microsoft version" of your requirement. If anyone else knows, please let us know.

There was a web version from Microsoft, specifically for managing MSDE versions.

See Web Data Administrator
It's not much there. But it will let you create databases, create and drop tables, run queries, and export or import data and schema.
