A bit late for an answer, but here goes:
* currently there are only the Microsoft BI certifications that come close (exam 70-448 and 70-452):
http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/certification/cert-sql-server.aspx#tab2
* in the next version of SQL Server, SQL Server 2012, there will be more certifications, and I guess some of them are more focused on data warehousing:

* a general non-vendor related certification is the one of the TDWI institute. I think this one is difficult to get.

There is a MSc from Dundee University which can be taken part-time (mostly remotely).

Tony Rogerson (http://www.sql-server.co.uk/) is currently finishing his dissertation.
