Is SSRS available to local network with SQL Server 2008 Express with Advance services

    Helo Gurus,

    I wan to confirm if can I use SQL server 2008 Express with Advance services in following environment:

    SQL server 2008 Express with Advance Services is installed on a machine (Windows Server machine),

    say it is server machine.

    The reporting services are also installed on this server machine and all configurations

    (like enable it, firewall, etc.) is done.

    Now the question is : Can applications (or browser) access servermachine to have report ?

    Per the link below if you want to use ReportViewer in local mode then you need to use SQL Server 2005 Advanced so you will not use any of the SQL Server 2008 features because SQL Server 2008 Advanced require full licensed SQL Server 2008 SSRS running before you can use it. What that means is ReportViewer 2008 can only run in remote mode which require SSRS 2008 running.
