What is the influence of installing report serviecs on the performance
in the prod server
the server as the os of server 2008 64 bit and ms sql 2005 64 bit
and the server has 16 gb ram

You can install it and not start/enable it, it won't hurt
and when you need it in the future, you don't have to go through the SQL Server installation again
