I need to find out how to replicate a table from one server to a table with a different name on another server. For ex. a table name m_test to a table that is exactly the same except the name is just test. I have inherited an env. that has to server that subscribe to another server and the tables are named different on the subscriber. I have to rebuild the replication, but can't see how that was done orginally. Any ideas?
Thks,
Chris

Chris, If you create a script of the replication thru Enterprise Manager you can see where you can enter the receiving object name. I've never tried it but it looks like it should work if you just change the names and run the script.
Good Luck,

I was thinking of doing that or just updating the destination column in the distribution.dbo.msarticles table. I want to see if anyone else has successfully attempted that. Scripting is a good idea, didn't think of that myself.
