Hi there,
Currently I am dealing with more than 300 views and 200+ stored procedures. Is it possible to create sub-folders to group views and stored procedures?
I am using standard version of SQl Server 2005. Not sure whether such features are available in the enterprise editions.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Fredy

Not that I know of. I like what they did in Access 2007, but it doesn't appear to be possible in SSMS (Express anyways).

Maybe we should all start using ACCESS as GUI for SQL Server.
As far as I know, we all script everything we do anyways, so there's no point to keep SSMS around anyways :P.

I have done that in the past and to be honest is not that bad .... 😀

You can't do that, but there is a filter tool in the Object Explorer and in Object Explorer Details window that will allow you to look at subsets of the tables. It isn't perfect, but it's better than nothing. Click on the little funnel icon.

I've never seen the funnel icon enabled. What is your secret?

I'm not sure it's a secret, but I can click on the Object Explorer window, say on the "Tables" folder within a database and there it is.
