We're currently evaluating a product called DBSophic Qure so that we can automate Performance tuning on client databases.
The problem with the evaluation version is that it hides a lot of the recommendations, which is to be expected, when you consider the IP thats involved, as well as the benefits you can gain simply by using an evaluation copy endlessly.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone out there was using or had used the full blown product, and could offer any feedback on how acurate it is with its suggestions and output.
I'm always skeptical about automated Tuning applications as they often fall short of the mark.

I am also in the same boat. I would like to know if anyone is actually using this in production. There are few good recommendations from popular sql server sites for this tool though.
