Here's the error log. I don't see the virtual IP instance listening, only the local IP.
I do see the IP in the TCP/IP properties in the protocol for the instance in configuration manager.

2008-05-30 12:54:35.57 Server Server local connection provider is ready to accept connection on [ \\.\pipe\MSSQL$PROJECT07\sql\query ].
2008-05-30 12:54:35.60 Server Server is listening on [ 127.0.0.1 2091].

did you enable it to use tcp/ip ?

Yes TCP/IP is enabled. It seems to only bind a port number to the local address not the virtual IP.
