IO_COMPLETION

    DBCC PERFMON run on our SQL Server shows a high incidence of IO_COMPLETION waits.  What is the "thing" or "things" I should be looking at with this counter?

    You could use many performance counters via System Monitor to understand how your query/server is doing.. you will get a lot of information about this in boosk online.

    In SQL Server Books online.. Index Tab-- in the Search box.. type in System Monitor, Objects.. you can then explore details your self.
