  I built a simple VB 6 application that allows users to update information in a SS7 database. The application uses command objects and stored procedures to do this. I can run the application on my computer but other users can't. They get an error message saying invalid login with my user id. Is there a reason this would be happening?

  I found the problem. I had changed the properties on the linked server I have set up to where my remote user login impersonate my network user login. Once I relinked the server without the impersonation, the application worked for other users.
