Invalid Descriptor Index. The step failed.

    The distribution agent will not start producing this error. sql2k sp4. I'm pretty sure it's a server config issue as the replication works fine elsewhere, so any hints as to where to look would be gratefully received.

    I apologise for posting twice - must have been a stutter on my workstation - I still don't have a solution to this so if any readers have any thoughts I'd appreciate them.
