I have just setup my first replication project. I followed the instructions carefully and the initial setup was successful. But when the merge agent ran, it gave an error message "Invalid column 'rowguidcol'". I checked all the table definitions of the articles and I found no field having the name 'rowguidcol'. What could be the reason to this? Could anyone please help me. I am desperately trying to make this thing work for many days now but it's still giving the same error. Thank you very much.

You have a column in your source data that generates a guid as an identity. Do a search in BOL for "rowguid" - there's a bunch of stuff related to replication...

If you dont have the col probably not a bad idea to just back up and try again, delete and rebuild the pub.
