Good job, Steve. Very enjoyable article. Interviewing with a 'dud' is definitely difficult.
One of my favorite questions, by the way, when I'm on the other side of the desk, is, "tell me what you DON'T like about working here." This wakes up the interviewer, really gets their attention, usually puts a smile on their face -- I've been told on several occasions that I was the first person to ever ask them about the negatives. And someone in the interview process always gives me a -fairly- honest answer, filling me in on some dirt about poor management or other issues. So it's really a great question to ask.

Good for you. I always ask about the negatives. They certainly will come up later.
