Processing cube failed due to internal error.
Details:
Analysis Server Error: Processing error [Internal error] 'Finance_rapport^Order'SOrder Id4508509565' ; Time:9/4/2003 4:04:06 PM
I use a view. Nothing has changed on the base table (one column is added) but order is not the column that is added.
Anybody any ideas.
Thanks in advance.

Bart

I have the same problem. The only difference is that I get this error when trying to process a new dimension.
The source of the problem is a bit deeper in my case. The first error I got making this cube was when I wanted to count de member count of a level in my dimension. There I got the error Methode '~' of object '~' failed.
I filled in the member count value manually with the correct value to work around this problem. But I didn't got far.
There several other dimensions and cubes running fine for the last year and a half.

Hi Nico,
Thanks for the reply.
I thought that I was the only person having
this problem. For now the problem is still not fixed.
What's the data type for the new dimension ?

Bart,
You're not alone...
All the levels in my dimension are varchar.
Other detail:
The data I want to get is in 7 different tables (For each level 1 table)
All joined togheter nicely.
I've been looking on MSDN, BOL, ... nothing there.

Nico,
Varchar should not be a problem.
Which DB are you using (Oracle, SQL server...) ?
How many records are there in each table ?
Has their been any changes in the driver settings on the server machine.

Bart,
DB : SQL Server
Nr of rec's Top table 7. Bottom table +/- 600.000
No changes done to the server.
Not at the SQL Server and not at the analysis server.

Bart,
I've found a problem.
On the lowest level I have moer then 65.000 records attached to one parent level.
So more then 65.000 product under one catalog entry.
Trying to solve the problem now. Maybe you should check this?
