hello every one!
I need all the help i can get. I currently work with Access(vba, sql) and i know a little about sql servers. for about two years now i have been trying to get to the next step and a couple of months ago, i sat for and became certified(mcdba and mcsd). i became an mcp(nt4.0)in 1999. any way i digress. my question is, i sent uot my resume just to see what would happen , and i have two interviews this week for a jr/intermediate sql dba position. I NEED HELP. what do i expect in this interview ? how do i prepare for it? what are these interviewers looking for and most importantly, since i don't intend to lie about my skills, how do i get the Job. I have a very uncanny ability to pick up pretty much any type skill in a very small time frame and i know that i can get the job done, but how do i survice and get through the interview process.
HELP HELP HELP

For a jr/intermediate position - they'll probably ask you questions about how to dump databases, benefits of stored procs, what's a transaction log, difference between clustered and non-clustered indexes - they may ask you some PerfMon questions, how to add new users, how to tell when blocking is occuring...good luck!
