I found this in the SQL Server Tutorials (seems to be the replacement for BOL) under SSIS administering:
Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Integration Services (SSIS) includes the Integration Services service for managing Integration Services packages. The Integration Services service is available only in SQL Server Management Studio.
Integration Services provides two top-level folders for accessing Integration Services packages: Running Packages and Stored Packages.
I'm glad they told me I can only find Integration Services in SQL Server Management Studio. Now if they would have told me where they hid it I might be happier. We have installed SQL Server 2005 standard version and I have looked everywhere I can think of in the Management Studio. Can someone tell me where to find the Integration Services service Microsoft is talking about?

I just learned that the service must be installed first before I will be able to find it. I am not amused.
Sorry for being so grumpy, not my day I guess. All I seem to be learning today about SQL Server 2005 is what it can't do and what I can do in SQL Server 2000.
Thankfully, I learned from our DBA that we will be installing every component on a better computer tomorrow and he will be supervising the install.

Thanks. We just installed it and I was looking for it under Management or some other folder and couldn't find it. I'm going to go look again.

OK, I found it and got access to it. Is there anyway to register it like you do the database engines?

OK, we now have two SQL Server 2005's with Integration Services installed. Can I access both of them from one server? I just tried and it wouldn't let me change the login information for the one that is not on the server I am logged onto.
