While I understand what SSIS does, I'm not terribly good at it. Is there a book that people recommend for learning it? I have Brian Knight's book on SSIS 2008 (Learn in 24 hours), which is okay, except either the videos are really blurry or my eyesight is failing quickly.
I guess what I'm looking for is almost an SSIS book written almost like Brian Larson's book on SSRS 2008.
Is SSIS pretty simple and I'm overthinking it?
Thanks!

You can start here: Stairway to Integration Services[/url]. I like all the stairways but this one is particularly good.
I just finished reading:
Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Integration Services
which is good (not great).
I found the "Step by Step" books for BI topics (e.g. SSIS, SSAS) pretty good but I don't think they are making them anymore.

I would recommend 'Knight's 24-Hour Trainer: Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Integration Services ' as a quick reference.
If you work through that even though it is written for 2008 you will learn alot about SSIS . It has 3 pages on each component/task with examples.

I have that book... the only thing I am not thrilled about is the quality of the videos. Going to see if it will work okay with SSIS 2012. Only one way to find out... go try it. And I have to learn it!

There is also the 2208 SSIS book written by Knight and team. Professional Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Integration Services (Knight, Veerman, Dickinson, Hinson and Herbold) from Wrox. It is a good one overall.

Anything new and exciting in the new version (like screen captures/video that you can actually read)? Shame, because the rest of the book looks pretty good.
