Hi, am learning about integration services, and am having a problem with the tasks in integration services. i dont seem to really understand how they are used. Also, i need an example of an area in which business intelligence has been fully used.

That's a pretty broad question you have there.
Here is the reference site for Project Real - if you read through the documentation and work through the examples, it gives you a pretty good hands on view of how the Microsoft SQL Server stack can be leveraged to provide end-to-end BI.
Project REAL is a cooperative effort between Microsoft and a number of technology partners in the business intelligence (BI) industry to build on actual customer scenarios to discover best practices for creating BI applications based on SQL Server 2005.
As for your SSIS issues, you'll need to be a bit more specific.
