Integrate file stored on a web address

    Hello,

    I need to integrate xls files stored on a web address. More specificaly these files are stored on a sharepoint database and i can access throught a WebFolder

    The address look like this "http://MyServer:8081/MyFolder/MyFile.xls

    When i enter this adress in my Excel Connection Manager, the preview of my Excel source return me an error "Invalid Internet address"

    Is there a way to acces a file on a Web Address ?

    This is a limitation in the driver that we are using in Excel 2007. We are using an Access 2007 Driver to connect to the Excel file rather than the Jet 4.0 that we used to use in Excel 2003. This driver does "not support importing or linking data from a remote FTP or HTTP server. " SharePoint qualifies as an HTTP Server.
